Welcome to Mobile Heroes, Gaming Edition

When we first kicked off Mobile Heroes a year and a half ago, we set out to bring a well deserved focus to the community of app marketers that market something other than a game, like a dating or e-commerce app. The community has been tremendously underserved, unlike their gaming marketer brethren. Hence came Mobile Heroes.

Over sixteen months we interviewed 24 non-gaming app marketers, held dozens of amazing photo and video shoots, interviewed our heroes in live streaming broadcasts, published dozens of blog posts and weekly emails, produced a series of interviews with our heroes for VentureBeat, held Mobile Heroes events in San Francisco, Vegas (yeah baby), New York and Boston with our heroes leading breakout sessions, and so much more.

And all the while, as we’ve been busy producing all of this great content with our heroes for the non-gaming marketing community, the one question we’ve heard more than any other is “I market a game. Can I be a Mobile Hero?”

At Liftoff, we like to be inclusive of everyone, no matter the type of app you work on. We don’t discriminate. Yes gaming app marketers, you too can be a Mobile Hero.

Over the next 3 months, we turn our focus to gaming, working with 6 leading gaming marketers to create a range of educational and thought-leadership content to kick off 2017. We hope you enjoy what we have in-store.
