Liftoff Employee Spotlight: Alexandra Vornle von Haagenfels, Manager of Ad Creative Producers
Alexandra joined Liftoff in January 2015 as the first Ad Creative Producer (ACP) at Lifttoff’s HQ in Palo Alto, California. The team is now a stellar group of eleven ACPs (and growing). She is now living and working from our London office, helping our EMEA and APAC teams bring the best ad creative experience to our customers. Alexandra enjoys the people she works with and finding new creative concepts that perform well. Outside of work, you can find Alex at a bakery enjoying a croissant or sugar tart (yum!).
What was your first ever job?
I babysat for my little brother and would get paid in pizza🍕.
Why did you decide to become an ACP?
One of Liftoff’s co-founders, Phil Crosby, reached out to me about building a new role at his fast-growing startup. I would be the first person hired in this role and would have the opportunity to decide what it meant to be an Ad Creative Producer at Liftoff. The idea of having multiple customers was also appealing, since I could always work with new customers if I needed something new and exciting.
How has your role evolved during your time here?
I’ve lived in two countries and have seen the ACP team grow to eleven people across three regions during my time at Liftoff. Working together with all teams to make sure we’re building a great product has been the best part.
What drew you to Liftoff originally?
When I first joined, I noticed how smart everyone was. I knew this was a place where I could quickly learn from the people around me – which holds true to this day, over four years later.
What is your favorite part about working at Liftoff?
The people! Everyone says that, but it’s true. My team is amazing and we all hustle towards the same goal. It’s been great to see how the company has grown internationally and how we now have the opportunity to learn from various cultures from all of our seven offices around the world.
What have you learned since working at Liftoff?
I’ve learned how important it is to work and collaborate with other people. I’ve learned how an idea can build off of itself from brainstorming with a group. Two (or more!) heads are definitely better than one.
What are you looking forward to in the next year?
I’m looking forward to expanding the international teams in London and Singapore, improving our internal tools, and taking the creatives we build for our customers to the next level.
